21 Geog Extension Officers were awarded certificate by Mr. Namgay Dorji Program Director of Fishery and Ackwaculture Center Gaylaphu upon the completion of twelve days comprehensive training on operation and maintenance of the farm machines as intensive course on farm mechanization training at regional agriculture machinery center Samtenling on 8th April. 2016. The participants from Thimphu, Paro and Haa Dzongkhags had attend the training scheduled from 28th March till 8th April 2016. The training is provided with the expectation to enhance and improve the skills in implementing the hiring services which includes operation and maintenance of the power tiller asides from the general farm machines. The twelve days training enhance with a comprehansive manner focousing maximum in practical than the theory and other subjects. As of now training centre completed over 203 geogs officer training and under twenty Dzongkhags and about 200 officers attended the training till date.

? Able to deliver the outline of machineries tools & spare parts and hiring services under the geog.
? Back-up services on agriculture machines for repair and maintenance .
? Basic of farm mechanization with background knowledge on Post Harvest technology.
? To deliver safety awareness.
? Trouble shooting causes and remedies.
? Causes of machines breakdown.
