1. Awareness program on off grid cardamom dyer

The Awareness program on off grid cardamom dryer was conducted in Drujeygang and Nimtola gewog under Dagana Dzongkhag. The program were graced by Local leaders, extension officer, owner and nearby farmers. About 74 (50 in Drujeygang and 24 in Nimtola) farmers  attended the awareness program in two locations which was coordinated and organized by Regional Agriculture Machinery Centre along with the support of Dzongkhag and Extension officer of the gewog. The Main objectives of this awareness program is to make understand the use of the dryer and its advantages and also sensitize nearby farmers on the dryer. During the program farmers were imparted awareness on improved cultivation practice, dryer uses and maintenance and pest& Dieases by the AMC and Extension officer.  The dryer has gained its popularity in the potential area were huge cardamom are grown, it is simply because of its design and adaptability by the farmers. The same program will be continued in other Dzongkhags as well. ?
