The 2nd round of farm machinery training especially power tiller and Tractor completed on November 30, 2016 in Paro, Samteling and Khangma offices of Agriculture Machinery Centre. In Paro, 20 operators were trained in operation and maintenance of Power tiller who were nominated by Dzongkhag agriculture sectors of Trongsa, Wangdue and Punakha. In Samteling, 24 operators were trained in the operation and maintenance of Power tiller and they were nominated from Sarpang and Zhemgang respectively. In AMC office, Khangma, 11 operators were trained for the same machine and they were from Mongar and Tashigang.
For the tractor which is 3 months course, 5 operators were trained at Paro. In total 60 operators were trained in the 2nd batch and they shall be engaged as geog power tiller operators.
