1. Youth farm machinery training for commercial farming

As part of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests ( MoAF) 's initiative to utilize the fallow land through commercial farming programme for the youths, Agriculture Machinery Centre office , Khangma trained 10 youths in the operation and maintenance of power tiller from Febraury 12 until February 25 maintaing the same training durations.  The land for the youth had already been leased by the National Land commission in consultation with the MoAF and Dzongkhag. This is the first initiatve and it started from Lhuntse Dzongkhag. More such programmes shall be initiated and AMC shall be continuing with this type of training. The further training to these youth in all operations of the farming system shall be provided.
